About
Lauren Patton
Safety Consultant and Accessibility Specialist, Lauren Patton, has been working with the aging population as an Occupational Therapist for 13 years. Advising patients on home safety and environmental modifications has always been a passion of her practice. She is a member of the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance (HMOTA) and holds an Aging in Place Specialist certification (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders. With a BA in Human Biology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Carolina, Lauren uses a transactional approach in addressing patients' physical needs and beloved occupations in their homes. After a decade of clinical work in rehabilitation and home health occupational therapy, Lauren has developed an understanding of clients' diverse needs for creative solutions to elevate the experience of living at home.

Home Safety & Accessibility Evaluation
We provide comprehensive safety evaluations and home surveys to determine how to make your life more livable at home. With a health-focused lens, we understand unique requests and concerns, planning for productive aging for a fulfilling life.
Simple & Complex Modifications
We increase safety and function at home through cost-effective and creative home modifications. We will work with your preferred contractor, builder, or architect and can recommend a team of skilled building professionals and equipment specialists to provide specialized technologies for your specific needs.
Virtual Aging-in-Place Consultation
We understand that it can be challenging to bring up the conversation of modifying a beloved home. We are here for you, assisting those who may be hesitant to start. Using a research-backed process for mediating a successful dialogue, we make it easier to start the conversation without negatively impacting your relationship with beloved family.
